Any good new gadgets coming up in 2011?
I’m still trying to get my head around the gadgets the kids got for Christmas! There is a new version of iPad coming, I think it has a camera and USB slot. Don’t think I can justify upgrading my iPad just for those features, but maybe if I get a good tax return…
I think I will wait until mid July 2011 to see how many tablets we come out, then probably get the one with the most features such as cameras, usb, flash support, big drive and fast.. can’t wait for next year.
I very nearly got my three year old an Android tablet for Christmas but decided it was too geeky, even though his speech therapist says it is good for him to play with my iPad. Maybe I will just get him an iTouch so I don’t have to stray too far from the Church of Apple.
I am actually looking forward to the Google TV, that’s if it ever makes it to Australia

OpenSource is spreading globally on so many different levels, schools, hospitals, businesses… really inspiring. I got into it via Android, when I heard Linux was behind it I headed off to a Linux meeting and made the switch. Now I’m finding out more about the Linux virus – it’s everywhere!
Watching the Android marketplace grow has been very interesting, I love the pace of the market and watching it slowly creep up to everything ’i’.

Well fancy that, I run my life on free software (no joke!) and I didn’t notice there is a Day coming up to celebrate it.
Maybe I can have a celebration of my own. Burning Microsoft manuals or something.
