Typeboard is a social citizen media website where the community creates and makes headlines by posting their articles, news, reports, journals, reviews, critics, ideas, tips and stories by the people and from the people.
Share your thoughts, comments and experiences with the community.
Anyone can register for free and within seconds you can start posting articles or comments in real time. So you don’t have to worry about moderators or editors publishing your articles. That is right no moderators or editors.
In Typeboard, all articles are important so we will not rank articles in any form or way. Basically you post an article and it will come up first and will move down the latter as other articles are posted. However we have the Top Stories option on the right column which shows the most popular stories viewed by the community.

11th December – Typeboard Geo Location Map View
We are currentely implementing a new Typeboard feature, we are adding a Geo Location Map View to the front page of the website, so you will be able to view recent articles by Map Location as well as browsing through the website. We are implementing this new feature today and we will be going through all articles to make sure they have the geo location option turned on. Current authors are welcome to add location to their existing maps.
23rd November – Typeboard “Post thumbnails”
All articles with images will now display a thumbnail of the image in the homepage and personal pages.
8th October – Typeboard Mobile Phone view and open comments
You can now view Typeboard.com in a more mobile friendly version – try it on your IPhone, Android Phone or any other hand-held device.
We have also open all comments to all articles on typeboard.com, anyone can now comment on articles posted in the website without registering on typeboard.com. We have made that decision because we want everyone to join the Typeboard.com community and share their comments, even the ones that don’t want to register with us yet.
18th October – Typeboard “Follow Article Comments – RSS Feed”
You can now subscribe to comments per article by selecting the “Follow Comments – RSS Feed” which is at the bottom of each article. This way you don’t have to receive annoying e-mails about comments you have made in any article.
17th October – Typeboard – Related Stories, Top Stories of the Day and Google Ads.
We have added the “Related Stories” and “top Typeboard stories of the day” to the sidebar when you view an article, we also have added Google Ads to the site.
16th October – Typeboard Article page updates
We have made a few changes to the article pages, on the sidebar you can now view information on the author of the article.
11th October – Typeboard pagination
We have now implemented a pagination system to all pages. We hope you like it.
10th October- Typeboard Community Avatar
We changed the Typeboard Community avatars in a Twitter Type of format.
2nd October- Typeboard part of Google News
Typeboard has now been added to the Google news aggregator services. Which basically means articles added to Typeboard will appear in the Google News section. Thanks to all the visitors and authors for posting their articles and information in the website.
11th September – Embedding Videos
We have now added an easier way for you to add embeded videos to Typeboard using 3rd party video sites such as Youtube, Vimeo, MySpace, Metacafe and a few more. Enjoy
10th September – New Spell Checker “after the deadline” implemented to Typeboard
After the deadline will help you write better posts as you will spend less time checking for grammar and spelling errors.

09th September – Comments rating
We have now implemented comments rating Thumbs up/down to all comments. There are always good and bad comments online so we are now giving you the chance to vote for them in Typeboard.
29th August – Nested Comments or Reply to Comments
Nested Comments added to all Typeboard comments, which means users can now reply to any comments.
4th August – Comments moderation terms
We have now added a “Moderation Terms” section under the Code of Conductpage, hopefully these moderation terms will help Typeboard authors and visitors to understand our decisions when it comes to commenting in the site.
31st July – Follow Typeboard
We have added the follow Typeboard section to the right sidebar of the website, it will make it easier for many users to follow us in other social networks such as Facebook, Twitter and you can also pick up our RSS feeds.
21st July – Report comments added
We have added a “report comments” feature to all comments in Typeboard, so if you believe someone has breached our Code of Conductpolicy, then you can submit a report to Typeboard.
10th July Updates – Author Avatar update
Author Avatar image now shows in author profile page and author article page.
