Suzuki is set to launch a new bike in India this year. This is the GW250 bike competing in the 250cc segment. This move comes after the steady growth in the Indian two wheeler segment, which the company is quite bullish about. The bike is expected to be priced between INR 1.5 to 2 lakhs.

The new GW250 will be powered by a liquid cooled, four stroke, 250cc engine that is capable of delivering 26hp of max power at 8,500rpm and a peak torque of 24Nm at 7,000rpm, and will most likely not have a bikini fairing. By launching the GW250, the company aims to go up against the CBR250R from Honda, and the Ninja 250R from Kawasaki.
