Battle between the Leaf and Volt

Posted on June 20, 2011 by by mikehussey

The Chevrolet Volt and the Nissan Leaf might be two different cars altogether, they do have few basic similarities. The most important being the fact that they are the only mass produced and extremely eco friendly cars that are in the U.S market as of now. To notice which of these vehicles makes more business this year is something that is very interesting.

The competition in the market for dominant sales is fierce between these two vehicles, the difference between the sales of these two is a meager 17models. The higher number of models being sold by Nissan between January to end of May.

This statistic might soon change as the Chevrolet has now made the Volt available to all the 50 states in U.S. as compared to the earlier seven. The company has also lowered the price of this car to $39,995, the price tag however remains pretty high as compared to the of the Nissan Leaf which comes at $32,780.
