Facebook has now turned 7 year old and has over 500 million users world wide. What the Typeboard team was wondering is what Australians and Typeboard friends used to connect to family and friends before the popular social network became viral? MySpace, Hi5, Frienster, ICQ, blogs or just e-mails and phone calls?

Hmmm seven years ago would have been 2004… I think I was still on Usenet and online forums, and occasionally IRC or ICQ.
