Two men face charges of affray and recklessly causing serious injury following an assault on a 20-year-old man in the CBD on the 1 August at a car park. Victoria Police

The victim was with friends when after a verbal altercation he was attacked by a large group of people as he left a car park in Collins Street by and exit in Flinders Street..

In the attack, the 20-year-old was hit in the face and knocked unconscious.

He fell to the ground where the group continued punch and kick him.

The injured man was taken to the Royal Melbourne Hospital for treatment.

Detectives from the Melbourne CIU arrested two men today in a western suburbs gymnasium.

The men both aged ,19, have been bailed to appear in the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court at a later date.
