Police seek witnesses to double fatality in North Fitzroy

Victoria Police investigating a double fatality in North Fitzroy last Friday morning are appealing for witnesses to the collision.
The incident claimed the lives of a 17-year-old Thornbury man and a 29-year-old Craigieburn woman about 2am on 30 July.
Northcote police are particularly interested in speaking with two men who got into a taxi at the intersection of Collins and Spring Streets between 1.30 and 2am on the morning of the double fatality.
The men were travelling to Thornbury and it is believed they may have witnesses the collision but left the scene prior to police arrival.
