What should Canberra look like in 20 years time? how should transport be like? how big should the population be? how environmentally friendly should the city be? Do you have an opinion about it? if you do then you’ll need to visit the Canberra2030 website and tell them about it.

Canberra2030 seems to be a new ACT Government initiative but there is nothing in their website about it yet, 11:30pm AEST.

You can also follow them in Twitter Canberra2030 or talk about them by using the #canberra2030 hashtag.

They have also posted a video on youtube about it.

So maybe you can watch this video and share your thoughts here until their site goes live.

UPDATED – 27-08-10 : the Canberra2030 website is now live, you can now submit your ideas on how Canberra should look like in 20 yrs time, there is also a forum and if you complete their online survey you can win an Ipad.

This project also seems to be the very first ACT Government website using social media tools to interact with the Canberra community.

The site seems to have been developed by Canberra advertising, marketing and online services agency Crea8ive.
