Three men arrested for online child pornography offences – Melbourne

Detectives from the Sexual Crimes Squad, E-Crime Squad and members of Frankston police joined forces today to arrest three men from the south east suburbs for child pornography-related offences. Police media release
Police raided five homes in the Frankston area from 6.30am confiscating computer hard drives and other material. A 61-year-old from Frankston North, a 48-year-old from Carrum Downs and a 42-year-old from Seaford, were arrested following the raids.
Detective Inspector Davies said using sophisticated technology police are able to target specific, geographical areas of Melbourne and wider Victoria.
âWe now have the technology to proactively target people accessing, downloading and making available child abuse material,â he said.
