Police seek witnesses to fatal collision in Myrniong, Victoria

Victoria Police are seeking witnesses to last night’s fatal collision in Myrniong, after a 20 year old Greendale woman died in a three vehicle collision. Media Release
The three vehicle collision occurred near Myrniong about 6.15pm.
Police believe the deceased was driving her Mitsubishi sedan west on the Western highway when it struck the rear of a black Holden utility. Consequently, a blue Holden utility then struck the rear of the Mitsubishi.
The deceased died at the scene whilst her passenger was transported to hospital in a non life-threatening condition.
The driver of the black Holden utility, believed to be in his 30’s from Blackwood was taken to hospital for observation.

The Major Collision Investigation Unit are calling for people travelling on the Western Highway at Myrniong prior to or around the time of the collision to contact police.
