Minister for Police Michael Daley and Member for Menai Alison Megarrity today announced a $5,500 NSW Government grant for the NSW Police Wives and Friends Support Group at Menai Police Station.

Mr Daley said the NSW Police Wives and Friends Support Group has raised funds over the past 20 years to support NSW Police Force members and their families at times of needs.
“Police and their families can find themselves in financial difficulty through ill health, injury or a death in the family,” he said.

“The Wives and Friends Support Group is an organisation that those officers and family members can turn to for support and assistance in their time of need.
