Plenty of Rain, But No Water!

It is interesting for me to discover world-wide issues from first hand experiences as opposed to being taught about them in the classroom. It is a common thought that environmental issues such as Global Warming and dry spells are the cause of droughts and water shortages. But while traveling in India, I have heard and seen places such as Dang, where there is plenty of rainfall per year, yet no working dams to help store it for future use. Many people in these regions are trying to survive without water and must endure long droughts. I found this video, which also helped me better understand the conditions and predicaments faced in these areas of the world.
