The OutInCanberra People’s Choice Awards is back again this year where Canberrans have the opportunity to vote for their favourite restaurant, night club and cafe.
To vote visit the OutInCanberra People’s Choice Awards webpage and complete the online form, it takes less than 3 minutes if you know who you are voting for.
The awards have become so popular that even the ACT Chief Minister Jon Stanhope is urging Canberrans to go online and vote.
“Our tourism industry contributes about $1.3 billion to our economy and employs around 13,000 Canberrans,” Mr Barr said. “The hospitality sector is an important part of the tourism industry, attracting visitors and adding to the cultural life enjoyed by those of us who live here.
“These awards put a spotlight on the very best of our excellent hospitality industry and provide another opportunity for Canberrans to show their support for local tourism operators and workers.” ACT Government media release
Voting will close at 5pm, Friday 16 July 2010.
The TOP 5 from each category will be announced at 9am, Tuesday 8 June 2010 with the winners crowned at the 2010 AHA Hospitality Awards on Monday 19 July 2010.
