This is for the Canberra entry into a national Flash Mob competition, sponsored by The World’s Your Stage (wys.com). The competition is aiming to raise awareness of Mental Health issues around the country.

Pillow fight will be filmed, and placed on YouTube. The clip with the most hits will win $500 for a nominated charity (BEYOND BLUE for Canberra).

Theme: Celebrate Life
Where: Under the clock in Garema Place
Start: 11.00am
End: There will be a whistle at the centre. When the whistle goes, walk off as though it was the most normal thing to be doing
BYO: Pillows (try to hide them until you join the fight)

A small group will start the fight, and the rest of the mob will continue to join in from random places, at different times.

Invite as many people as you know – the bigger the mob, the more fun it will be!

As this event is getting so large, it would be fantastic if we could get some media coverage to help spread the message of Mental Health Awareness. I figured the best place to start was here! If anyone is involved in media, or has contacts, please let me know so I can get some coverage organised!!
