Belconnen schools Unite with University of Canberra

The ACT Government has announced a new partnership between Kaleen High School, Lake Ginninderra College and the University of Canberra (UC) today to make it easier for students to move into university with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). Chief Minister
“The agreement will help better prepare students from junior high school and college for tertiary education. It will further improve teaching quality with school staff and UC teacher education staff sharing their expertise and experience. It will also provide unique opportunities for the UC, the schools and the Department of Education and Training to conduct research.”
“The agreement will also see UC branding included in the official materials of both schools as part of building a strong community across the three campuses. From 1 July Kaleen High School and Lake Ginninderra College will be renamed University of Canberra High School, Kaleen and University of Canberra Senior Secondary College, Lake Ginninderra to reflect the close relationship with the University.”
