Audrey Fagan Scholarships – applications now open

On 30 April 2010, the Minister for Women, Joy Burch MLA called for applications for the 2010 Audrey Fagan Young Women’s Enrichment Grants Program.
The Audrey Fagan Young Women’s Enrichment Grants Program is a component of the Audrey Fagan Scholarships Program and honours Ms Fagan’s support and mentoring of young women.
The Enrichment Grants , which is now open to girls aged 13 to 18, will provide one off payments of up to $2,000 to enable them to study or seek further development in the area of their passion. The Program aims to inspire young women to develop or enhance their skills and knowledge within their area of interest through a supportive mentoring relationship. One of the principal strengths of the Enrichment Grants is that they provide an opportunity for young women to make decisions, take responsibility, or initiate projects in collaboration with experienced mentors.
