ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to a burglary and arson which occurred at the Lanyon Youth Centre last night (Wednesday 21 April).

Police were called to the Lanyon Youth Centre, Sidney Nolan Street, Conder around 10:50pm following reports of a fire having been lit inside a vehicle parked inside an adjacent shed.

The fire subsequently caused damage estimated to be in excess of $40,000.

AFP Forensic Services attended and conducted an examination of the scene.
