ACT Policing is currently investigating a stabbing in a car park outside Erindale College in Tuggeranong which occurred about 1pm yesterday (March 9).

A 17-year-old male has received non life threatening injuries as a result of an altercation with a male offender.

The victim has been conveyed to The Canberra Hospital for treatment.

The offender is believed to have left the scene in a vehicle with another male.

Initial enquiries reveal that this incident appears to be a targeted attack and was not within the school grounds. No other injuries or incidents have been reported to police from the school today.

Police are currently onsite speaking to witnesses and would encourage any further witnesses who are yet to speak to police to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
