It is now official, Earth Hour has become the number one trend on Twitter with #Earth Hour not far behind it and this is just a few hours after millions of Australians switched their lights off.

This year 125 countries are participating on the event and it seems that the Twittersphere is also supporting it.

Are you also supporting Earth Hour? did you switch your lights off in Australia? will you switch them off if it isn’t 8:30pm where you live yet? or do you think it is just a waste of time?
