Control burns in Namadgi National Park – ACT

The ACT Department of Territory and Municipal Services will conduct large scale controlled burns from today for a period of seven days weather permitting within the Namadgi National Park. ESA
Namadgi National Park—Wednesday 24 to Wednesday 31 March 2010
Where: Mount Clear and Brandy Flat areas of Namadgi National Park, approximately 20-30 kilometres south of Tharwa (Handy Map Reference in the Yellow Pages, 121 to 122 and K20 to K23)
Duration: Commencing on Wednesday 24 March 2010 and expected to run for seven days.
The ACT Handy Map grid reference points for the burns are I21 to I22 and K20 to K23.
