Fyshwick McDonalds Thief caught in Kingston – Canberra

ACT Policing has arrested a 27-year-old Western Australian man following a robbery of the McDonalds restaurant in Fyshwick last night (February 8). AFP
About 7.29pm the alleged offender entered the restaurant on Newcastle Street and immediately walked behind the counter and grabbed a female attendant by the arm and demanded money.
The victim opened the till and the man removed a small amount of cash. The victim was unharmed during the incident.
The man fled the scene in a taxi which was parked out the front of the store.
Around 10pm police located the alleged offender at a bottle shop in Kingston where he was arrested and conveyed to the ACT Watch House.
