Former Mexican President Vicente Fox (2000-2006) reported today that several people have created fake Twitter accounts using his name.

“I have not created any user profile on Twitter and I assume that users @ FoxVicente, @ VicenteFox, @ Chente, @ viczorro and @foxquezada are misusing my name”. EPA

Vicente Fox told the public to disregard everything published under these names, as they are not his ideas or opinion.

Of all the fake Twitter accounts only one user @Vicente Fox has responded to journalists and tweets several times a day since he joined the social  network back on 13 February 2010.

There is no much he can do about it unless he finally creates a Twitter account and uses a Verified Account just like many famous people already do on Twitter.
