The Apple tablet just will *not* have a disk drive in it - flash ram yes - maybe 64GB or 128GB but a disk drive *no*. The reason = battery. If people want a that config they will buy a netbook. The tablet is going to be more like a big brother iPhone but with a greater range of options for input of data (gestures voice) and for multimedia interaction. The Apple tablet will function more like a window to the cloud but with the ability to store function & apps locally & work off-line from the net.
