Who killed and taped a cockatoo to a sign in Sydney?

Police are appealing for information after the death of a cockatoo that was found taped to speed limit sign in Sydney’s west. NSW Police

Police were called yesterday morning ”Tuesday 26th January’ to Weir Road at Warragamba after passing motorists found the body of a sulphur-crested cockatoo taped to the 50kmh sign. Motorists alerted police and the bird was removed by a nearby resident.

The body has been taken to the RSPCA headquarters for a post mortem examination to officially determine how it died.

“St Marys Police are investigating what happened to the bird  and are appealing to anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity to contact them via Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.”
