Two MMA shows free-to-air in Australia you probably didn’t know about – UFC and Strike Force
Posted on January 14, 2010 by by Valeri
Is the sport of “Mixed Martial Arts” finally becoming popular in Australia? many wouldn’t think so, but maybe that will change soon thanks to two free to air MMA tournmaments shown in Australia. “Digital TV Only”
Did you know that UFC Wired is shown on channel “One“ twice a week? that is correct, every thursday at 10:00pm and repeats on saturday night at 11pm, ok maybe we shouldn’t count the saturday one but they are still showing it which means it must be a popular show, right?
The second MMA tournament shown for free is Strike Force on Channel 7two, it is shown every thursday night at 11:30pm and goes for about half an hour. The Strike Force programming is a little different to the UFC Wired, the Strike Force program only shows the best knockouts of their tournaments, meanwhile the UFC wired shows you the best fights of all times and it goes for an hour.
Network Ten also announced last month that they will be showing the UFC 110 for free on channel “One” which is on Saturday 20th February 2010.
So there you have it MMA lovers, two weekly MMA shows for free and UFC 110 next month as well.

What planet are you on armed? EVERY mma fan knows cuffs and the ufc are the premium brand because they do things better for the fans, love or hate the business tactics, they still built the sport to the success it is. So don’t watch it if you dont want to. But bag the ufc, u may a well just bag the sport and its elite
