The ACT will be conducting a second trial of the Emergency Alert telephone warning system today. ESA

The first trial of the Emergency Alert was conducted on 17 December 2009 in the suburbs of Turner, Lyneham, O’Connor, Hall and Hume. The first trial also had some minor technical problems but have now been resolved with the system provider, “Telstra”.

The trial will be conducted in the following Canberra suburbs today:

Fadden, Macarthur, Gowrie, Gilmore, Chisholm, Richardson, CSIRO Black Mountain, Uriarra Settlement, Pierces Creek Settlement, and the Cotter excluding Mount Stromlo.
