Mashable.com new design – something isn’t right!
Posted on January 7, 2010 by by Valeri
As many “web lovers” and social media addicts already know, the popular social media and technology news site “Mashable” launched their new website redesign a few days ago.
Does the design look better? I actually like it but that was a day ago, today however it is a different story, maybe they are having issues with the CSS, or maybe it’s their server or maybe someone hacked it?
Who knows what is really going on but right now this is what their site looks like:
Firefox, Chrome and IE 8
In Firefox and Chrome the bullet points on the top left navigation area are overlapping the links and the main navigation bar links have numbers overlapping them as well. Surprisingly enough the only problem in Internet Explorer was the blue border colour over the images.
I am not going to go into details on what I think the problems are but I am sure some of you would like to share your knowledge and thoughts about it, I still love the site and their content so probably they are just having some minor rendering issues with it. Good luck with it.
So do you like their new design apart from this small issue? they want to know about it so visit them at mashable new redesign and let them know what you think.

UPDATE:
“Mashable“Â rendering issues are gone and the site is looking pretty good again. Jan 7th 7:36am – Australian time.
