Australia Day in Canberra with the kids
Posted on January 24, 2010 by by emd
If you want something family-friendly to take the kids to on Australia Day 2010 (apart from BBQs with family and friends), there’s a round-up of local events at the Brindabella Baby blog. You can also check out the National Gallery’s Masterpieces From Paris exhibition (not free, but cheap and educational). The Australian National Botanic Garden have the Replant: a new generation of botanical art exhibition on til 31 January, and it’s free. The Museum of Australian Democracy at Old Parliament House is also open on Australia Day, with cheap entry and educational interactive family activities.
