A 29-year-old Learner Driver from Narrabundah, Canberra was caught with a blood alcohol content of nine times over the legal limit ’0.185′ in Kingston yesterday evening (December 22). AFP

About 6.45pm ACT Police Operations received a call from a concerned member of the public advising police of an apparent intoxicated male driving a silver Nissan Tida on Giles Street, Kingston.

Within minutes, Woden patrols attended the location and subsequently stopped the vehicle on Leichhardt Street. The male driver recorded a positive result when subjected to a roadside screening test by police and was taken into police custody.
