Musicians playing for drug dealer Cartel parties is not news. However, a Grammy winning musician getting caught during a raid at a Cartel’s Christmas party is a different story!
Ramon Ayala, accordionist and Norteno singer who lives in Hidalgo, Texas and who has won two Latin Grammy Awards, was caught during a raid at a Cartel’s Christmas party where he was performing. AP reports
”A federal Attorney General’s Office spokesman says Ayala was released after being questioned. The spokesman says he is not authorized to be quoted by name. The official says Ayala was performing on Friday south of Mexico City in the town of Tepoztlan when Navy troops raided the house and a shoot-out ensued. Three gunmen were killed and 11 others were detained.”
