Police have arrested two women and are hunting a half naked man following the discovery of a suspected clandestine laboratory in Preston. Melbourne Victoria Police

“MFB crews were called to a report of a fire in a room at the Rydges Bell City Hotel on Bell Street shortly before midnight. Police attended and located precursor chemicals believed to be used in the manufacture of amphetamines.”

Prior to police arrival, residents reported seeing the male occupant flee the premises in his underwear.

Two women who remained in the second floor room were arrested and police are still conducting further enquiries into the whereabouts of the missing man.
