Christmas Carols 2009 at the Australian War Memorial

Christmas Carols at the Australian War Memorial is on tonight and it should be bigger than ever.

The concert will feature Barry Crocker, Rachael Beck, David Dixon, Jacinata Le, David Andrews, and Hayley Jensen backed by the Band of the Royal Military College of Duntroon and local choirs.

What to bring
Christmas Carols is a family-friendly event and you are encouraged to bring:

  • rugs, cushions and low level seating
  • hat and sunscreen
  • warm clothing, just in case it gets cooler later in the evening
  • raincoat (just in case)
  • picnic blanket and baskets
  • plenty of Christmas spirit
  • Food and drinks
  • You are welcome to bring your picnic baskets. A variety of food and drinks, including tea and coffee, will be available for sale.

Seating
Please bring picnic rugs and low seating. There will an area set aside for those with taller chairs, so that everyone gets a good view.

Toilets
Toilets are located at the top of the hill between the Sculpture Garden and the Parade Ground.

Information tent
Candles, Santa hats, glowsticks and programs will be available on the night.
