Canberra man dies in light plane crash

A 77-year-old Canberra man has died in an ultra light plane crash in NSW, yesterday. NSW Police reports
“Shortly before 7pm police and emergency services personnel attended a paddock near Brial Road, about 10km north of Boorowa, following reports of a light plane crash. Upon arrival police discovered the single-seater ultra light plane crashed in the paddock.”
It is believed the plane struck power lines before crashing.
