Young man caught driving at 218 km/h – Sydney

20 year old man has had his licence suspended after he was caught driving at 218km/h on the M5 motorway at Riverwood-Sydney yesterday (Sunday 15 November). NSW Police

“About 3.45am police from the Bankstown Highway Patrol clocked the 2002 Lexus is200 sedan speeding in a westbound lane where the speed limit is of 110km/h.”

Police stopped the driver at the intersection of The River Road and suspended his licence on the spot.

The Alfords Point man was also issued with a Court Attendance Notice for the offences of drive at a dangerous speed and exceed speed limit over 45km/h.
