Two men impersonated Police to steal from house

Two men have impersonated police officers to steal from a house in Cairnlea last night. Victoria Police It is believed four occupants were at their home in Inverness Court when they heard a knock on the door about 7pm. “The two men stated they were from the Sunshine Crime Investigation Unit and had a warrant to search the premises.” The men, dressed in plain clothes, wearing holsters with a pistol and handcuffs, did not produce police identification or a search warrant. They were allowed entry to the house and stole money, a gold chain, gold diamond studded earrings, a gold necklace and a gold diamond ring. No one was injured during the robbery. The two men are described as dark skinned, about 30 years of age, 183cm tall and of solid build
