The creepy crawlies are out for Friday the 13th

Posted on November 12, 2009 by by letsdoitcanberra

King O’Malley’s Irish Pub invites all Movember supporters to the Movember Half-Way Lunch, Friday 13 November, beginning 12.30pm.

The lunch will mark the half-way point of the month long charity initiative and will give all those Mo Bro’s the opportunity to come along and scope out the competition ahead of the Movember Gala Parte to be held Thursday, November 26.

Movember Ambassadors, Jared Bidwell (Silver Medallist World Champion Rower) and Lachlan Kennedy (WIN News Sports), will be at Canberra’s home of Movember sporting the creepy crawlies growing on their faces.

Everyone is invited to attend the event aimed at raising the awareness of men’s health and donations for the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia and beyondblue.

Managing Director of King O’Malley’s Irish Pub, Peter Barclay, says tomorrow’s event will give all those Mo Bro’s and Sista’s in Canberra the chance to gather at the half-way point to see how the competition is coming along.

“Friday’s lunch will be another chance for us to raise awareness but also have a bit of fun, we’ve also got some great prizes to giveaway. Peter says

“It will be great to see how everyone’s Mo’s are coming along.”

To join or support this great cause, Mo Bro’s and Mo Sista’s should jump online http://au.movember.com/ to get involved or donate.
