The anonymous blogger “Belle de Hour “Diary of a London Call Girl” has finally revealed her real identity during an interview with the Sunday Times. Sky News Reports

“Belle blogs about life as a high class prostitute earned her a six-figure book deal and inspired an ITV2 series starring Billy Piper entitled Secret Diary of a Call Girl.”

Belle’s real name is Dr. Brooke Magnanti, a research scientist working at St Michael’s Hospital in Bristol and is employed by the University of Bristol.

When reading her blog post “Now I’m not anonymous…“ she says: “It feels so much better on this side. Not to have to tell lies, hide things from the people I care about. To be able to defend what my experience of sex work is like to all the sceptics and doubters.”
