Beautifulpeople.com, a new social network targeted to sexy and good-looking people has rejected over 1.8 million applicants from joining the website because they were too ugly. PRNews
“The site went live on Monday, the 26th of October. Over the past two weeks, the site has rejected nearly 1.8 million unattractive people from 190 countries. Only 360,000 new members have been admitted so far. Sweden, Brazil and Norway are proving to be the most beautiful countries overall, with applicants from Germany and the UK among the least successful.”
“BeautifulPeople.com now has a global membership which exceeds 540,000. Up to 4 million unique visitors visit the site daily.”
The way you know if you are part of the site or not is by applying to become a member with a photo and a brief profile. Over 48 hours, existing members of the opposite sex vote whether or not to admit you in the site. Options are ‘Yes definitely’, ‘Hmm yes, O.K’, ‘Hmm no, not really’ and ‘NO Definitely NOT’.
Maybe this is a good time to launch a new social network for ugly people, but if you want to find out how good-looking you are then  apply for Beautifulpeople.com and let us know if you are in or not.

hello, I just read an article today on internet explorer about this dating site, and I was fascinated. I think is fabulous !!!
The selection is fair, and why not? mind you, i am not very young, not miss australia, but what i sow on some of the dating sites, made me sick…sorry.
I am still very attractive and I will try the test…

That site is very interesting and discriminating, every one has a different opinion as to what beauty is, there are people who are extremely good looking but a completely ignorant. I will try and see how I go, I am married and not interested on the site at all but I am interested to see the outcome. Will keep typeboard posted.

hahaha, well results are in. Not only is it a poorly designed website but they really should judge beauty some other way for example by how beautiful a person can really be without having to look fake or air brushed. I only just made it hahaha I guess I’m not that ugly after all but I can be really ugly personality wise but I guess it does not count in that site only your looks hahahaha. I have now removed myself from that site “THANKS GOD”. Rubbish I tell you.
