Victoria Police are appealing for witnesses to an incident in which a silver Mazda MX6 was rammed several times by an enraged driver in a 4WD, Tullamarine.
It is believed the P-plater and his friend were travelling north on Mickleham Road, near Western Avenue, when they were rammed from behind by a 4WD around 12.10am on Saturday 21 November.
The silver Mazda MX6 attempted to evade the pursuing 4WD, weaving in and out of traffic, before being rammed another three times.
The 18-year-old driver did a u-turn and pulled into Coghill Street, Westmeadows, after seeing a vehicle he thought may have witnessed the incident.
As he stopped next to the vehicle to speak to the driver, the Mazda was again rammed twice by the 4WD, with such force that he was almost shunted into a tree.
Both the driver and his 18-year-old friend were uninjured however the silver Mazda was a write-off.
Police are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or saw a 4WD driving in the Tullamarine/Westmeadows area on Saturday 21 November, to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or visit www.crimestoppers.com.au.
