Car crashes into local shops – Canberra

A Mazda 323 four door sedan with NSW plates has crashed into the Yarralumla local shops this morning, 19th November 2009. Canberra

I was driving to work when I noticed that a car had crashed into the IGA at the Yarralumla Local Shops.

Police were at the scene already, avoid the area as the traffic was pretty slow.

    Far out. I was in Yarralumla this morning but avoided the shops anyway. Hope there was no major damage or injuries.

    I hope there were injuries.
    I mean it was a ramraid, stolen car, another burglary – this time even more brutal than usual – of this lovely supermarket.
    If they get caught, our fearless judges might even impose a one-week, periodic afternoon detention…
