You can now add “Artist Themes” to Google Chrome
Posted on October 6, 2009 by by valerirojas
About a month ago the guys at Google launched a few nice updates with their new stable release of their popular browser Google Chrome. Now they are pumping Chrome with some more steroids again.
This time they are providing Chrome users with a hundred artist themes to choose from, so if you thought your browser was a little too simple and boring you now have the option of changing it.
We invited leading artists, architects, musicians, illustrators, filmmakers and fashion and interior designers from around the globe to create artwork for an unusual canvas: the modern web browser. The result? Artist Themes for Google Chrome, a fusion of art and technology, with a hundred Artist Themes that we hope will enrich and personalize your web browsing experience. Google Blog
Some of the artists are Jeff Koons, Jenny Holzer, Karim Rashid, Jonathan Adler, Oscar de la Renta, Anita Kunz, Tom Sachs, Kate Spade, Donna Karan, Kid Robot, Casey Reas, Dolce & Gabbana, Michael Graves, Todd Oldham, Yann Arthus-Bertrand and even Mariah Carey.
So check it out, pick your favorite theme and tell us what you think of it.
