If you visit the Canberra Allclassifeds.com.au website and look for Pitbulls or Staffy dogs, you will find at least twenty different classifieds on selling or buying these dogs.

I thought that was great news as I wanted to sell two Pitbull pups, I then submitted my advertisement with allclassifieds.com.au and my application was denied, I tried again two days later and it was denied again.

I decided to call up the AllClassifieds office and ask the reason why they denied my advertisement, I was told because it was illegal to sell Pitbulls in Canberra. I then called up the RSPCA and they told me Canberra was in fact the only city in Australia where you can actually buy or sell Pitbulls. I called AllClassifieds back and told them about it and the answer from the customer service lady was that AllClassifieds just didn’t like these dogs.

I e-mailed AllClassifieds about it again and this is what they had to say in regards to that policy.

Sorry, but our policy is not to allow pitbull, red nose, brown nose or American Staffy ads on the Allclassified site.

I completely understand the policy and would respect their opinion, however the site is full of ads on Staffy and Pitbull dogs.

It makes me wonder if the people working in that site are aware of their own policies or do they just make them up as they go?
