The popular Australian Rock band Powderfinger held a number of surprise “free” gigs on Friday October 2nd 2009 in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne. The shows details “times and locations” were announced 30 mins prior to each show in their Twitter homepage.

Did I hear they didn’t go to Canberra, Darwin or Adelaide? maybe next time.
