MLA Porter still having problems with getting media releases out correctly

Posted on October 4, 2009 by by jr

First it was a case of taking a swing at 2CC “shock jock” Mark Parton (apparently in a release that was never meant to be published). Now it appears in the newest release on the Chief Ministers media web page that Mary Porter is rising to new levels of irrelevance, seeking attention in the middle of school holidays, on the October long weekend elaborating how she (apparently) walked Aranda Primary School students to Sunday school (Sunday, 04 October 2009) in a “walking school bus”.

Reading the release a little closer it appears that the “school walking bus” event actually occurred around June 2009. Another case of alleged computer error or just incompetence with an over eager media adviser stuffing the online content management system full of releases to publish on the wrong dates?

[...] Poor old Mary Porter can’t seem to win a trick with her attempts at getting her media coverage right at the moment. Her ongoing problems have been reported on this site previously both HERE and HERE. [...]
