ACT Policing is reporting an incident which occurred at the Alexander Maconochie Centre on Saturday (October 24).

Around 6.30pm, Police were called to the location after a 25-year-old man, was allegedly assaulted in his cell by two fellow inmates. As a result, the victim was transported to The Canberra Hospital by ACT Ambulance.

“Police will summons a 26-year-old man and a 29-year-old man to face the ACT Magistrates Court on a date to be set on charges of assault occasioning actual bodily harm.”
