Google celebrates the Bar Code invention with a new doodle

Let me introduce you to the latest Google doodle “the bar code“, Google is celebrating the invention of the bar code with a new doodle.

“Bernard Silver, a graduate student at Drexel Institute of Technology in Philadelphia and his friends Norman Joseph Woodland and Jordin Johanson filed a patent application On 20 October 1949 for their invention, however the patient wasn’t issued until the 7th of October 1952.

You can see the bar code doodle in Australia, New Zealand and in a few countries around Asia right now.
