Female police officer hit by a car on Oxford Street – Sydney

A 27-year-old female police officer remains in a critical condition after she was hit by a car on Oxford Street, Surry Hills on Monday morning.
The incident happened at about 2:40am when the officer was performing licensing duties,  she went to cross the road and was hit by a white Holden Commodore station wagon. She was taken to St Vincent’s Hospital suffering serious head injuries.
In another road incident during the long weekend a 25-year-old man died after a red Jeep Wrangler carrying five males, lost control and rolled. Moore Creek near Tamworth.
A 16-year-old male passenger suffered serious head injuries, a 17-year-old male suffered a broken arm and an 18-year-old male suffered a minor injury to his ear.
“The driver, a 22-year-old provisional driver from Tamworth will be spoken to and investigations into the crash are continuing with a report being prepared for the Coroner.” NSW Police
