Disney expands refund for Baby Einstein videos

Disney Baby Einstein has published another media release on the controversial Baby Einstein videos refund.
A press release was announced back on September 4, 2009, where the Baby Einstein company decided to leave it up to their costumers if they wanted a refund on the Baby Einstein videos as there were claims that the videos were not educational.
In the press release the company offered refunds to families on any DVDs bought from June 5, 2004 to September 4 to the current retail value of the DVD ($15.99). Families can also exchange DVDs for a “Little Einstein” book or music CD of their choice, or receive one coupon for 25% off a “Little Einstein” product.
The offer expires March 4 2010, so if you are not happy with any of the Baby Einstein DVDs you bought during that time then you may want to read the original media release about it.
The Baby Einstein company reports that the press release was largely ignored by the media and now the company wants to set the record straight on the matter and has extended the refund policy that was already in place.
“For the past several years, Baby Einstein has been under attack by propaganda groups taking extreme positions that try to dictate what parents should do, say and buy. Our philosophy has always been to focus on creating products that parents and babies love, and to not get sidetracked and pulled down into their street fight.” Baby Einstein General Manager Susan McLain said.
