Car lands on roof of home in Sydney

Posted on October 18, 2009 by by valerirojas

Two men have had a lucky escape after their vehicle was involved in an accident, ending up on the roof of a home in Sydney’s north west after 2am this morning.

“Shortly after 2am a Holden Commodore was travelling north along Sunnyholt Road, Parklea. Police believe the vehicle was travelling at high speed when it struck a concrete median strip near the intersection of Stanhope Gardens Parkway.”

The car continued and knocked over a set of traffic lights and a light pole before hitting a dirt mound. The vehicle then became airborne flying through the air about 10 to 15 meters before landing on the roof of a single storey home in Guemsey Way.
