A young man has had a lucky escape after a car went into the wall of his bedroom creating a massive hole on the wall. Epping, Melbourne.

Police reports , at about 11pm last night, a male driver, aged in his mid-30s, was performing a U-turn outside the house on Pommel Crescent when he lost control of his car and went through its fence, into the wall of the bedroom.

A young man in his early 20s was sleeping in the bedroom at the time of the incident but was fortunate his bed was placed at the other side of the bedroom.

The family members inside the house awoke to the crash but none were injured, the driver was taken to hospital for observation. Victoria Police
